Ohio High School Baseball - Monroe nips Sycamore
May 2, 2023: Monroe, OH 45050 Monroe Hornets (Monroe, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Sycamore Aviators (Cincinnati, OH), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Monroe upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Hornets travel to Eaton (Eaton, OH) to battle the Eagles in a Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern test on Wednesday, May 3. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-7.
With the defeat, Sycamore falls to 7-13 on the season. The Aviators host Mason (Mason, OH) to battle the Comets in a Greater Miami test on Wednesday, May 3. The Comets come into the test with a record of 14-3. Mason won 12-1 in their recent league test against Colerain (Cincinnati, OH)
