May 2, 2023: Sunbury, OH 43074 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH) and the visiting Westerville North Warriors (Westerville, OH), saw Big Walnut's lacrosse team top Westerville North by a margin of 17-6.
The Golden Eagles (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Columbus Academy (Gahanna, OH). The Vikings come into the non-league test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Columbus Academy was overwhelmed by St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, OH), 12-8, in a league test.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Westerville Central Warhawks (Westerville, OH) in a Region 1 test, on Thursday, May 4. Westerville North will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Warhawks come into the test with a 8-7 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Pickerington Central (Pickerington, OH).
