The Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), 8-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 4. Topsail will attempt to better on its 15-3 season record.

Next, the Screaming Eagle confront the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, May 4. Ashley will attempt to advance on its 13-6 season record. The Scorpions go into the outing with a 7-9 record after their 13-0 non-league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC).
