New York High School Lacrosse - Center Moriches drops to Westhampton Beach
May 2, 2023: Westhampton Beach, NY 11978 Westhampton Beach Hurricanes (Westhampton Beach, NY) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Center Moriches Red Devils (Center Moriches, NY), 17-3 in a league battle.
The Hurricanes now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Port Jefferson for a Section 11 II battle on Wednesday, May 10.
In their next game, the Red Devils clash with the West Babylon Eagles (West Babylon, NY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 5. Center Moriches will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 16-2 league loss to Smithtown West (Smithtown, NY).
