Michigan High School Softball - East Kentwood can't get by Caledonia
May 2, 2023: Caledonia, MI 49316 In Tuesday's league contest, the Caledonia Fighting Scots (Caledonia, MI) softball team held off the visiting East Kentwood Falcons (Kentwood, MI), by a margin of 9-8.
With the triumph, Caledonia moves its record to 5-10 on the year. The Fighting Scots host Jenison (Jenison, MI) to play the Wildcats in a Ottawa-Kent - Red contest on Thursday, May 4. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 9-4. Jenison won 7-0 in their recent league contest against Rockford (Rockford, MI)
In their next game, the Falcons play the Grand Haven Buccaneers (Grand Haven, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Red contest, on Friday, May 5. East Kentwood will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record. The Buccaneers come into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 18-0 league win over West Ottawa (Holland, MI).
