Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oscar Smith for a Southeastern challenge on Thursday, May 4. Hickory will face a Tigers squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-13.
