May 2, 2024: Lewes, DE 19958 Cape Henlopen Vikings (Lewes, DE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE), 12-2 in a league test.
With the win, Cape Henlopen upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Salesianum (Wilmington, DE) to battle the Sallies in a non-league test on Saturday, May 4. The Sallies come into the test with a record of 6-4. Salesianum lost 6-3 in their recent league test against St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE)
With the defeat, Polytech falls to 8-6 on the season. The Panthers host Laurel (Laurel, DE) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, May 3. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 7-6. Laurel won 9-8 in their recent league test against Lake Forest (Felton, DE)
