Kentucky High School Baseball - Great Crossing defeats Lexington Catholic
May 2, 2024: Lexington, KY 40503 Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY), 11-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Great Crossing upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The travel to Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY) to battle the Colonels in a non-league test on Saturday, May 4. The Colonels come into the test with a record of 19-9. Whitley County won 16-5 in their recent non-league test against Jackson County (McKee, KY)
With the defeat, Lexington Catholic falls to 17-10 on the season. The Knights travel to Lafayette (Lexington, KY) to battle the Generals in a District 43 test on Tuesday, May 7. The Generals come into the test with a record of 10-10. Lafayette lost 8-4 in their recent league test against Tates Creek (Lexington, KY)
