May 2, 2024: Neptune, NJ 07753 Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ), 12-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Holmdel upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Hornets host Wall Township (Wall, NJ) to battle the Crimson Knights in a Shore - A Central test on Friday, May 3. The Crimson Knights come into the test with a record of 9-4. Wall Township won 1-0 in their recent league test against Raritan (Hazlet, NJ)
With the defeat, Neptune falls to 1-14 on the season. The Scarlet fliers host Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ) to battle the Spartans in a Shore - B North test on Monday, May 6. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 11-7. Ocean Township won 14-4 in their recent non-league test against St. Rose (Belmar, NJ)
