Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN), 8-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Washington Township upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Senators travel to Kouts (Kouts, IN) to battle the Mustangs & Fillies in a Porter County test on Friday, May 3. The Mustangs & Fillies come into the test with a record of 11-5. Kouts won 9-5 in their recent non-league test against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN)

With the defeat, Wheeler falls to 9-8 on the season. The Bearcats host Lowell (Lowell, IN) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league test on Friday, May 3. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 5-9.
