May 2, 2024: Smithtown, NY 11787 Smithtown East Bulls (Smithtown, NY) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Walt Whitman Wildcats (Huntington Station, NY), 13-0 in a league battle.
The Bulls now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Commack for a Section 11 I battle on Monday, May 6. Smithtown East will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 13-6 league win over Connetquot (Bohemia, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 9-5.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Riverhead Blue Waves (Riverhead, NY) in a Section 11 I battle, on Monday, May 6. Walt Whitman will attempt to advance on its 3-11 season record. The Blue Waves come into the battle with a 11-3 record after their 14-7 league win over Sachem North (Lake Ronkonkoma, NY).
