Virginia High School Soccer - Westfield held off by South Lakes
May 2, 2024: Chantilly, VA 20151 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) and the host Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA), saw South Lakes's soccer squad get by Westfield by a margin of 2-1.
The Seahawks now sport a 5-5 record. They play next when they host James Madison for a Concorde test on Tuesday, May 7. South Lakes will meet a Warhawks squad coming off a 2-2 league Oakton (Vienna, VA). The Warhawks record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Westfield drops to 9-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Chantilly (Chantilly, VA) to meet the Chargers in a Concorde test on Tuesday, May 7. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 0-11. Chantilly lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Centreville (Clifton, VA)
