The Bald Eagle Area Eagles routed the host Central Dragons softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Thursday's league battle.

The Eagles (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA). The Chucks go into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Punxsutawney was routed by Karns City (Karns City, PA), 13-11, in a non-league battle.

The Dragons now sport a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Everett for a non-league battle on Friday, May 3. Central will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 16-0 league win over McConnellsburg (McConnellsburg, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 13-2.
