New Jersey High School Softball - Passaic nudges Garfield
May 2, 2024: Passaic, NJ 07055 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Passaic Indians (Passaic, NJ) and the visiting Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ), saw Passaic's softball squad nip Garfield by a count of 13-12.
The Indians now sport a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Eastside for a Big North - Liberty match on Friday, May 3. Passaic will face a Ghosts squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ). The Ghosts record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, Garfield falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Boilermakers travel to Lodi (Lodi, NJ) to face the Rams in a NJIC - Meadowlands match on Friday, May 3. The Rams enter the match with a record of 5-6. Lodi won 11-0 in their recent non-league match against Palisades Park (Palisades Park, NJ)
