Pennsylvania High School Softball - Wilkes-Barre bounces Scranton
May 2, 2024: Scranton, PA 18508 The Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack routed the host Scranton Knights softball squad by a count of 21-7 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Wolfpack (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Pittston (Pittston, PA). The Patriots go into the Wyoming Valley 2 battle with a 10-0 record. In their last battle, Pittston topped Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Knights now sport a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Scranton Prep for a Lackawanna 1 battle on Monday, May 6. Scranton will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 12-4 league loss to Valley View (Archbald, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-6.
