Kentucky High School Softball - Waggener holds off Seneca
May 2, 2024: Louisville, KY 40220 Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Waggener Wildcats (Louisville, KY) and the host Seneca Red Hawks (Louisville, KY), witnessed Waggener's softball squad tip Seneca by a count of 9-7.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Southern for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 7.
With the loss, Seneca moves to 2-8 on the season. The Red hawks host Fort Knox (Fort Knox, KY) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, May 6. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 5-20. Fort Knox won 20-5 in their recent non-league match against Beth Haven (Louisville, KY)
