In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Amherst Falcons baseball team scored a close 5-2 victory over the New Holstein Huskies.

The Falcons (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Iola-Scandinavia (Iola, WI). The Thunderbirds enter the Central Wisconsin - East game with a 4-5 record.

Next, the Huskies face the Kiel Raiders (Kiel, WI) in a Eastern Wisconsin game, on Tuesday, May 6. New Holstein will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Raiders enter the game with a 9-2 record after their 11-2 league win over Chilton (Chilton, WI).
