The Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA) baseball got by the visiting Manheim Central Barons (Manheim, PA), 3-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Mountaineers now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host South Western for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 3. Ephrata will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 16-15 league loss to Red Lion (Red Lion, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-15.

With the defeat, Manheim Central drops to 12-7 on the year. The Barons travel to Donegal (Mt. Joy, PA) to clash with the Indians in a Lancaster-Lebanon 3 challenge on Monday, May 5. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Donegal lost 16-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Palmyra (Palmyra, PA)
