The Galway Golden Eagles baseball squad (Galway, NY), was overwhelmed 17-5 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Johnstown Sir Bills (Johnstown, NY)

With the triumph, Johnstown moves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Sir Bills host Duanesburg (Delanson, NY) to confront the Eagles in a Section 2 Western - Southern contest on Monday, May 5. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 8-4. Duanesburg won 21-5 in their recent league contest against Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons (Schenectady, NY)

The Golden Eagles now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waterford-Halfmoon for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 3.
