Colorado High School Baseball - Palisade defeats Grand Junction
May 2, 2025: Palisade, CO 81526 The Palisade Bulldogs baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Grand Junction Tigers to 3 in the Bulldogs league win on Friday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they host Rifle for a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. Palisade will play a Bears team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO). The Bears record now stands at 9-9.
With the defeat, Grand Junction drops to 15-6 on the year. The Tigers travel to Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO) to play the Wildcats in a 4A/5A Southwestern test on Tuesday, May 6. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 12-8. Fruita Monument won 5-4 in their recent league test against Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO)
