The Honesdale Hornets baseball squad (Honesdale, PA), was overwhelmed 4-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA)

The Blue Devils now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dunmore for a Lackawanna 2 challenge on Monday, May 5. Old Forge will clash with a Bucks team coming off a 4-2 league win over Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Bucks record now stands at 14-3.

With the defeat, Honesdale drops to 6-11 on the year. The Hornets host Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA) to clash with the Wildcats in a Lackawanna 2 challenge on Monday, May 5. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Western Wayne lost 10-6 in their recent league challenge against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA)
