May 2, 2025: Hopatcong, NJ 07843 The Kittatinny Regional Cougars baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Hopatcong Chiefs to 0 in the Cougars league win on Friday.
The Cougars now own a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Warren Regional for a non-league test on Monday, May 5. Kittatinny Regional will play a Patriots team coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Voorhees (Glen Gardner, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 2-11.
With the defeat, Hopatcong drops to 4-9 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Newton (Newton, NJ) to play the Braves in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Braves go into the test with a record of 8-9. Newton lost 8-1 in their recent non-league test against North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ)
