May 2, 2025: Northome, MN 56650 The Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Kelliher/Northome Mustangs to 0 in the Wolves league win on Friday.
The Wolves now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cass Lake-Bena for a Northland test on Monday, May 5.
With the defeat, Kelliher/Northome drops to 0-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN) to clash with the Tigers in a Northland test on Thursday, May 8. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 5-6. Pine River-Backus won 8-1 in their recent non-league test against McGregor (McGregor, MN)
