Rhode Island High School Baseball - Providence Country Day held off by St. Raphael Academy
May 2, 2025: East Providence, RI 02914 St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Providence Country Day Knights (East Providence, RI), 3-1 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, St. Raphael Academy moves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Saints travel to Burrillville (Harrisville, RI) to battle the Broncos in a Division 2 match on Monday, May 5. The Broncos come into the match with a record of 8-4. Burrillville won 12-1 in their recent league match against Prout (Wakefield, RI)
The Knights now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tolman for a Division 3 match on Tuesday, May 6.
