The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) and the host Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN), saw Thornton Fractional South's baseball team beat Whiting by a margin of 10-0.

The Red Wolves (5-17) will now prepare for their battle against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen enter the non-league battle with a 4-19 record. In their last battle, Joliet Central was overwhelmed by Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL), 11-4, in a league battle.
