The Minisink Valley Warriors lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the host Cornwall Central Dragons to 5 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now hold a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Niskayuna for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 3. Minisink Valley will clash with a Silver Warriors squad coming off a 19-3 league win over Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY). The Silver Warriors record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Cornwall Central falls to 3-7 on the year. The Dragons travel to Warwick (Warwick, NY) to clash with the Wildcats in a Section 9 B Division II challenge on Tuesday, May 6.
