May 2, 2025: Vestal, NY 13850 The Vestal Golden Bears lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Windsor Central Black Knights to 12 in the Golden Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Bears now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Union-Endicott for a Section 4 STAC - Metro challenge on Monday, May 5. Vestal will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 11-9 non-league loss to Johnson City (Johnson City, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Windsor Central falls to 6-4 on the year. The Black knights host Whitney Point (Whitney Point, NY) to clash with the Eagles in a Section 4 STAC - Central challenge on Monday, May 5. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Whitney Point lost 16-12 in their recent league challenge against Chenango Forks (Binghamton, NY)
