May 2, 2025: Humboldt, IA 50548 Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Humboldt advances its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-5.
The Bombers now have a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host North Polk for a Raccoon River test on Monday, May 5. Ballard will clash with a Comets team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Comets record now stands at 11-0.
