Virginia High School Soccer - Chelsea Academy knocks off Wakefield Country Day
May 2, 2025: Flint Hill, VA 22640 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Chelsea Academy Knights (Front Royal, VA) and the host Wakefield Country Day Owls (Flint Hill, VA), saw Chelsea Academy's soccer squad triumph over Wakefield Country Day by a count of 9-0.
The Knights (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Evergreen Christian (Leesburg, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Evergreen Christian was overwhelmed by Covenant Christian Academy (Warrenton, VA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Owls battle the Immanuel Christian Warriors (Springfield, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 5. Wakefield Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Fairfax HomeSchool (Fairfax, VA).
