Illinois High School Soccer - Highland Park knocks off North Shore Country Day
May 2, 2025: Winnetka, IL 60093 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL) and the host North Shore Country Day Raiders (Winnetka, IL), saw Highland Park's soccer squad prevail over North Shore Country Day by a count of 6-2.
The Giants (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Wolves enter the Central Suburban - North battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Niles West tipped Kennedy (Chicago, IL), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Raiders battle the Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL) in a Independent Schools battle, on Tuesday, May 6. North Shore Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Caxys enter the battle with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Willows Academy (Des Plaines, IL).
