Next, the Pioneers battle the Oakville Tigers (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 5. Kirkwood will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record.
The Statesmen (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against Windsor (Imperial, MO). The Owls go into the Class 3 District 2 bout with a 12-6 record. In their last bout, Windsor was nudged by St. Vincent (Perryville, MO), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
