Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI) followers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Classical Purple (Providence, RI), 17-0 in a league game.

With the victory, Scituate advances its record to 10-0 on the season. The Spartans host Providence Country Day (East Providence, RI) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. The Knights come into the game with a record of 1-8. Providence Country Day won 7-6 in their recent league game against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI)

The Purple now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tiverton for a Division 4 game on Tuesday, May 6. Classical will play a Tigers team coming off a 14-3 league win over North Providence (North Providence, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 7-2.
