New York High School Lacrosse - Johnstown drops to Voorheesville
May 2, 2025: Johnstown, NY 12095 The Voorheesville Blackbirds triumphed over the host Johnstown Sir Bills lacrosse team by a tally of 9-1 in Friday's non-league match.
Next up, the Blackbirds confront the Stillwater Warriors (Stillwater, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial match, on Wednesday, May 7. Voorheesville will attempt to improve on its 11-0 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 8-4 record after their 16-3 league win over Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY).
The Sir Bills (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Greenwich (Greenwich, NY). The Witches enter the Section 2 Colonial match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Greenwich defeated Albany (Albany, NY), 16-13, in a non-league match.
