Illinois High School Lacrosse - Marmion drops to Montini Catholic

Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL) followers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), 17-5 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Montini Catholic advances its record to 5-4 on the season. The Broncos host St. Laurence (Burbank, IL) to play the Vikings in a Chicago Catholic - White game on Tuesday, May 6. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 2-8. St. Laurence won 15-7 in their recent non-league game against Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL)

The Cadets now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Rita for a Chicago Catholic - Blue game on Monday, May 5. Marmion will play a Mustangs team coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-10.
