May 2, 2025: Holmdel, NJ 07733 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) and the visiting Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ), witnessed St. John-Vianney's lacrosse squad gain a win over Rutherford by a score of 8-5.
The Lancers (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ). The Caseys enter the non-league contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Red Bank Catholic nipped Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ), 17-3, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Pompton Lakes Cardinals (Pompton Lakes, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 8. Rutherford will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
