The North Michigan Christian Academy Comets triumphed over the host Alanson Vikings softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Comets play the St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds (Gaylord, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 10. North Michigan Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.

The Vikings (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Ignace (St. Ignace, MI). The Saints enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record.
