New York High School Softball - Schenectady succumbs to Albany
May 2, 2025: Albany, NY 12203 In Friday's league test, the Albany Falcons (Albany, NY) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY), by a tally of 15-0.
Next, the Falcons clash with the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue test, on Monday, May 5. Albany will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 11-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NY).
The Patriots (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Mohonasen prevailed over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY), 5-4, in a league test.
