The Bedford Kicking Mules triumphed over the host Dundee Vikings softball squad by a count of 18-5 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Kicking Mules play the Dexter Dreadnaughts (Dexter, MI) in a Southeastern - Red challenge, on Monday, May 5. Bedford will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Dreadnaughts enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Howell (Howell, MI).

The Vikings (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenn (Westland, MI). The Rockets enter the non-league challenge with a 8-10 record. In their last challenge, Glenn overcame Wayne Memorial (Wayne, MI), 21-9, in a league challenge.
