The Fairport Red Raiders softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Brighton Bruins to 6 in the Red Raiders non-league win on Friday.

The Red Raiders now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greece Odyssey for a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. Fairport will confront a Leopards team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Wayne (Ontario Center, NY). The Leopards record now stands at 3-7.
