In Friday's non-league match, the host Lake Blue Streaks softball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Copley Indians.

The Blue Streaks (15-4) will now prepare for their match against Chardon (Chardon, OH). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league match with a 11-9 record. In their last match, Chardon tipped Mayfield (Mayfield, OH), 13-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) in a Suburban - American match, on Monday, May 5. Copley will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record.
