Virginia High School Softball - Isle of Wight Academy bounces Windsor
May 2, 2025: Isle of Wight, VA 23397 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers (Isle of Wight, VA) and the visiting Windsor Dukes (Windsor, VA), observed Isle of Wight Academy's softball team get by Windsor by a final score of 11-4.
The Chargers (8-9) will now prepare for their bout against Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 11-5 record. In their last bout, Peninsula Catholic tipped Hampton Christian Academy (Hampton, VA), 10-6, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Dukes battle the Greensville County Eagles (Emporia, VA) in a Tri-Rivers bout, on Monday, May 5. Windsor will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 19-10 league win over Brunswick (Lawrenceville, VA).
