Michigan High School Softball - Mt. Pleasant sneaks past Lake Orion
May 2, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 In Friday's non-league match, the host Mt. Pleasant Oilers softball team scored a tight 9-8 win over the Lake Orion Dragons.
The Oilers (14-5) will now prepare for their match against Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI). The Elks come into the non-league match with a 12-3 record. In their last match, Elk Rapids nipped Boyne City (Boyne City, MI), 16-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 3. Lake Orion will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Northmen come into the match with a 15-0 record after their 18-1 league win over Cadillac (Cadillac, MI).
