The Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders softball squad (Easton, PA), was edged 3-2 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA)

With the triumph, Pen Argyl improves its record to 14-5 on the year. The Green Knights travel to Bangor (Bangor, PA) to face the Slaters in a Colonial - East contest on Tuesday, May 6. The Slaters enter the contest with a record of 10-9. Bangor won 15-4 in their recent non-league contest against Lehighton (Lehighton, PA)

The Crusaders now hold a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Wilson Area for a Colonial - East contest on Monday, May 5. Notre Dame-Green Pond will face a Warriors squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Bethlehem Catholic (Bethlehem, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-10.
