Michigan High School Baseball - Franklin edges Brighton
May 2, 2026: Livonia, MI 48150 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Franklin Patriots (Livonia, MI) and the visiting Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, MI), saw Franklin's baseball team beat Brighton by a margin of 9-7.
The Patriots (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Churchill (Livonia, MI). The Chargers enter the Kensington Lakes - East battle with a 15-6 record. In their last battle, Churchill held off Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Salem Rocks (Canton, MI) in a Kensington Lakes - West battle, on Monday, May 4. Brighton will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record.
