Michigan High School Softball - Cass Tech edges Berkley
May 2, 2026: Detroit, MI 48201 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Cass Tech Technicians softball team scored a tight 5-3 win over the Berkley Bears.
The Technicians (11-2) will now prepare for their match against Lutheran North (Macomb, MI). The Mustangs come into the non-league match with a 12-1 record. In their last match, Lutheran North nipped Divine Child (Dearborn, MI), 11-7, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 2. Berkley will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Blue Devils come into the match with a 15-3 record after their 6-0 non-league win over L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI).
