In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Springfield Blue Devils softball team scored a tight 6-4 win over the River Valley Vikings.

The Blue Devils (9-9) will now prepare for their match against Findlay (Findlay, OH). The Trojans come into the Northern Lakes match with a 14-4 record. In their last match, Findlay by Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH), 10-5, in a league match.
