New Jersey High School Softball - Passaic Valley nudges Pompton Lakes
May 3, 2022: Little Falls, NJ 07424 Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pompton Lakes Cardinals (Pompton Lakes, NJ), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wayne Hills for a Big North challenge on Wednesday, May 4.
With the loss, Pompton Lakes falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, May 5. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 6-3. Glen Rock won 5-0 in their recent league match against Garfield (Garfield, NJ)
