Connecticut High School Softball - Wilcox RVT bounces Cheney RVT
May 3, 2023: Meriden, CT 06451 The Wilcox RVT Wildcats (Meriden, CT) softball routed the visiting Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT), 28-12 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Wildcats (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Goodwin Tech (New Britain, CT). The Gladiators go into the Connecticut Tech bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Goodwin Tech was routed by Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT), 20-18, in a league bout.
The Beavers now possess a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Windham RVT for a Connecticut Tech bout on Thursday, May 4. Cheney RVT will confront a Mighty Tigers squad coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT). The Mighty Tigers record now stands at 7-3.
