Connecticut High School Softball - Coventry bounces East Granby
May 3, 2023: East Granby, CT 06026 Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Coventry Patriots (Coventry, CT) and the host East Granby Crusaders (East Granby, CT), witnessed Coventry's softball squad prevail over East Granby by a count of 14-2.
The Patriots now sport a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Middletown for a non-league match on Thursday, May 4. Coventry will face a Blue Dragons squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, CT). The Blue Dragons record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, East Granby moves to 1-6 on the season. The Crusaders host Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT) to face the Bulldogs in a North Central Connecticut match on Thursday, May 4. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 2-6. Stafford won 12-6 in their recent league match against Suffield (West Suffield, CT)
