Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets (Fort Mill, SC) and the host Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC), witnessed Fort Mill's softball squad tip Hillcrest by a count of 5-4.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to James F. Byrnes for a non-league match on Friday, May 5. Fort Mill will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Spring Valley (Columbia, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 24-3.

With the loss, Hillcrest moves to 8-10 on the season. The Rams travel to Spring Valley (Columbia, SC) to meet the Vikings in a non-league match on Friday, May 5.
